Art. Nr: 16503
Magnetic tongue and groove profile 15mm wide
Consists of two self-adhesive magnetic tapes that adhere to each other and interlock like tongue and groove. The magnetic force of the tapes holds the profile together and the profiling prevents slipping. It is attached using the self-adhesive on the back.

Product features
- It is very suitable for fixing heavy panels such as frames, cover plates, stone slab samples or exhibits.
- Thanks to the magnetic tape, they can also be removed and replaced.
- Tongue and groove ensure the correct fixing in the right place. The wedging prevents slipping downwards.
- The magnetic force holds both tapes together. The self-adhesive on the back is designed for permanent loads.

Areas of application
The difference between these profiles and conventional magnetic tapes lies in their tongue and groove function. One side has a continuous recess (or several) and the other side has a precisely fitting continuous elevation. The magnetic force causes both tapes to adhere perfectly to each other and wedge. As a result, magnetic tongue and groove profiles have a very high shear force and can hold much more weight than comparable normal magnetic tapes. The following applications benefit from these properties:
- Soundproofing and insulation solutions: In workshops or production plants, the profiles can be used to install soundproofing or heat-insulating elements to improve working conditions. The self-adhesive tongue and groove profiles adhere to all smooth and clean surfaces and are matched to the holding force. The wedging effect prevents them from slipping down.
- Protective and safety enclosures: In industrial environments, magnetic profiles can be used to create temporary protective enclosures or covers for machines that can be easily removed and reattached during maintenance or repairs. Thanks to the wedging, vibrations and shocks do not cause the cover to fall off.
