AlNiCo pot magnets Ø60x15mm with conical countersink
These magnet systems with AlNiCo magnet cores are highly temperature-resistant (up to 450°C) and are used wherever strong holding forces are needed in the smallest of spaces and at high ambient temperatures. They are mounted via the central countersunk hole.

Product features
- Can be used at temperatures of up to 450°C without any permanent loss of holding force thanks to the use of an AlNiCo magnet core.
- Quick and safe mounting with the countersunk adhesive surface.
- The adhesive surface is polished.
- Shielded system: The field lines are directed through the steel casing to the free adhesive surface, which increases the holding power of the magnet.
- AlNiCo is very corrosion resistant.
- It is best to use brass or steel screws for mounting.

Areas of application
Our countersunk AlNiCo pot magnets with a borehole are made of an aluminum, nickel, and cobalt alloy and are ideal for applications with high temperatures of up to +450°C. They are characterized by high magnetic energy density and resistance to corrosion. Compared to newer magnetic materials such as neodymium, AlNiCo has a lower holding force, but its thermal and chemical stability makes it relevant:
- High-temperature applications: Alnico magnets have the highest temperature resistance compared to neodymium, ferrite and even samarium cobalt. This makes them ideal for temporary fastening tasks in demanding working environments with very high temperatures, such as drying ovens or powder coating lines, where they are used to hold covers in place. They are also used for various fastening applications in underground mining.
- Welding: AlNiCo pot magnets are the best choice for securely positioning workpieces such as steel parts and pipes during direct processing. They can easily withstand the extreme temperatures during welding, even over a longer period of time.
Did you know? Modern magnetic welding angles and clamping blocks are almost exclusively equipped with AlNiCo magnets.
