Areas of application

Neodymium disc magnets are made of the high-performance alloy neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) and offer an exceptionally high holding force compared to conventional ferrite or AlNiCo magnets. The combination of impressive magnetization capability and high flux density makes neodymium one of the strongest magnetic materials on the market. These properties are ideal for applications that require high magnetic force in the smallest of spaces: 

  • Industry and manufacturing: In industrial production and assembly, neodymium disc magnets are often used to fix components. Thanks to their high holding force, they hold machine covers, tools and metallic components securely in place. They are also ideal for locking systems, such as cabinet or door magnets.  
  • Events and presentations: At trade fairs, exhibitions and presentations, neodymium disc magnets provide an easy way to securely and flexibly attach posters, signs and presentation materials. Their small size allows for unobtrusive mounting without damaging the material.
  • Furniture making and interior design: Neodymium disc magnets are popular in furniture making for integrating concealed magnetic closures into cabinet doors and drawers. In interior design, they are used to attach panels and covers, where they are visually discreet yet extremely strong.
  • Electrical engineering: Neodymium magnets play a central role in electrical engineering, particularly in the field of electromobility.
