Our ultra-flat neodymium bar with counter plate works like a magnetic catch and keeps doors, flaps and drawers magnetically open or closed. The bar is mounted with countersunk head screws through the side holes, as is its counter plate on the opposite side. The magnetic holding function can be used in many areas:
- Furniture construction: In furniture construction and interior design, for example for kitchen furniture, office furniture or cabinets in hotel rooms, magnetic catches are used to keep doors and flaps securely closed. Invisible mounting and quiet operation contribute to a modern, aesthetic design and increase comfort. With a slight tug, the connection can be released and the flap opened. It then falls shut again and is held closed magnetically.
- Electronics and appliance manufacturing: Our ultra-flat neodymium bar is used in housing constructions and fuse boxes to keep covers and maintenance flaps securely closed even when vibrations occur.
- Vehicle and RV construction: Flat neodymium bars are installed in vehicle and RV covers, flaps, cabinets and drawers. They hold these closed reliably, even when subjected to strong vibrations from rough roads, and prevent loose objects from falling out.
