Areas of application
AlNiCo bar magnets with a steel housing and fit tolerance h6 are cylindrical magnet systems that impress with their high holding force and temperature resistance up to 450°C. They are particularly suitable for use in mechanical engineering, toolmaking and fixture construction, as well as in other industries where ferrous workpieces have to be held, clamped, transported or lifted safely at very high ambient temperatures:
- Use in drying ovens: AlNiCo rod grippers are installed in environments with extremely high temperatures to fix objects made of iron temporarily or permanently. In drying ovens, they keep covers, doors and flaps closed (or open).
- Machine and fixture construction: Heat-resistant AlNiCo bar magnet systems do a reliable job of holding molded parts and tools in place during the manufacturing process. They are not affected by extreme temperature fluctuations and the robust steel casing protects the magnet from mechanical damage.
