Metal magnetic fittings are a locking mechanism that uses a magnet and a counter plate to keep doors and flaps securely closed without locking them. Simply approaching the door is enough to close it, and a quick pull is all it takes to open it. The rubberized adhesive surface ensures a soft close without a loud bang. The required counter plate is included in the delivery and must be mounted precisely on the opposite side so that the magnet can develop its full holding power.
